MS VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball takes place in the fall from August thru beginning of October. Tryouts are usually in May.
COACH CURTIS BELL
This is Coach Curtis' first year coaching at Berean, but he has over 10 years of coaching experience in the Knoxville Area. Coach Curtis is passionate about teaching young girls to love volleyball, be a good teammate, and strives to get the most out of each player. Coach Curtis is excited to be a part of the growing volleyball program here at Berean.

MS GIRLS SOCCER
Girls soccer takes place in the fall from August to October. Tryouts will be announced in the Spring.
Coach Hannah has been coaching soccer at Berean since 2020. She was originally hired as the co-ed soccer coach, but had a passion for starting an all girls team to strengthen the girls soccer program at Berean. The middle school girls has their first season in the fall of 2021. Hannah also works full time on staff at Berean as the Assistant Athletic Director. She is a Berean alumni, graduated in 2018. Hannah loves watching the middle school girls grow in the 3 years she has them, and believes coaching is a great opportunity to minister and show Christ's love to young girls.

COACH JED GILLIS
This is Coach Jed's first year coaching soccer here at Berean, but he has been coaching soccer for many years. Jed serves as the pastor of teaching and discipleship at Berean Bible Church. Jed has been in pastoral ministry for over 10 years, and has also served in a Christian school as a Bible teacher and band director. Jed and his wife, Erica, have 4 children, and his oldest son, Judah, plays on the middle school soccer team.

COACH JASON FRANCE
This will be Coach France's second year coaching here at Berean, but he has many years of coaching and teaching experience. He currently teaches at Carter Middle School, but his son, Graeson, began attending Berean last year. They are excited to be a part of the Berean family this year. Coach France's son, Graeson, is a member of the middle school basketball and flag football teams, and Coach France is excited to be involved and helping with both teams.
MS JR VARSITY BASKETBALL

This will be Coach Miller's first as a head coach here at Berean, but he has been involved in the Berean basketball program for several years here as a Berean alumni and former member of the basketball team. Dalton graduated from Berean in 2018, and continued his education at Johnson University, where he studied Fitness Science and was a member of the soccer team. Dalton graduated from Johnson in 2022. We are excited to have Coach Miller coaching at Berean. We believe he is an excellent role model for our young boys and we love when our alumni continue to be involved in the Berean community. Coach Miller has a passion for basketball he hopes to share with his team, and is excited to watch them grow as basketball players, as well as young men.

COACH BRENNA WRIGHT
Coach Brenna Wright has served as our elementary & middle school Cross Country Coach for several years. In the fall of 2023, Brenna started our High School Cross Country team! Brenna and her husband Aaron, who serves as the High School Boys Soccer Coach, have two kids, Phoebe and Shepherd, who attend Berean. In her free time, Brenna enjoys gardening, running, camping, spending time with her family, and doing anything outdoors!
MS GIRLS CHEER
Berean Cheer Team is open to middle school girls and they cheer in the winter for basketball.
COACH KATIE BALL
This is Coach Katie Ball's first year coaching here at Berean, but she has several years of coaching experience. Katie is also a 5th grade teacher here at Berean and her three daughters are students at Berean.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag Football season takes place in the fall.
COACH TREY FOSHEE
I am excited to be coaching the flag football team this year and, Lord willing, the years to come! I played high school football in Chattanooga at the Baylor School and was a 2 year starter. I moved to Knoxville in 2014 for school and loved it so much here I stayed. I met my wife, Rachel Foshee, in 2017. Rachel serves as a SOAR Teacher at Berean. I enjoy spending time with Rachel and my friends, spending time in the Word, football, disc golf, and playing board/card games.

*We have a Fishing Club that is open to all ages which doesn't require a boat/team. They get together a few times a year to fish and fellowship! More Info
MELISSA CLAIBORNE
To join the Fishing Team (open from 7 years old and up) you need to have access to or own a boat.
Fishing takes place in the Spring. Open to girls and guys!
