
MUSIC
Our passion is for music to be a worship-fueled celebration to our God.
We want to equip students with inspiration and knowledge to use their gifts for His glory.
Through daily music classes, choir, worship band, and musical theatre there is an avenue for every student.
PreK
PreK ages 3 and up have weekly music classes and participate in chapels. They have a special recognition in May.
K-4th
K-4th grades have weekly classes with Mrs. Churchwell and prepare for various performances and chapels throughout the year.
5th
In addition to weekly music classes, 5th grade produces a full musical most years, providing opportunities for solos, acting, and technical theatre training.
Honor Choir
This auditioned choir of 3rd thru 7th graders will rehearse once a week after school with Mrs. Duncan to prepare for multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.

CHAPEL
Our Elementary and Upper Campus students are encouraged to participate in
weekly chapels and small groups led by faculty, staff, and community leaders.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

6th grade will have one 9 weeks of Music taught by Amy Churchwell.
​
7th grade will each have 9 weeks of Drama as a part of the Middle School Arts Education taught by Rachel Norman.

8th grade will have the semester option for Music and Choir taught by Heather Duncan


5th GRADE
As a part of their music curriculum, our 5th graders perform a selected piece
in the Spring as a part of our Fine Arts Season.

STUDIO​
To further strengthen our music and drama program, we’ve created The Studio at Berean, providing private music lessons right on campus. We are partnering with the best of the best musicians/coaches to equip our students for using their gifts for God’s glory.
