HS Boys Basketball Coach
Berean Christian School has an open position in the High School for Head Boys Basketball Coach for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To make disciples for Jesus Christ through the athletic program of Berean Christian School.
EMPLOYEE PROFILE: The Head Coach of a Berean High School team shall possess the following characteristics:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ evidenced by a strong, clear Christian testimony.

Values and participates in the community and accountability provided by the local church.

Evidence of spiritual maturity with a commitment to glorifying and honoring God in all areas of life.

A lifestyle of Biblical integrity.

A commitment to Christian school education.

Support of the administration of Berean Christian School.

Acceptance without reservation of the BCS doctrinal statement.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years coaching at the high school level or the equivalent desired.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Administrative emphasis is preferred.

Must possess strong leadership skills and have a willingness to build teams at every level of Berean Christian School and oversee the coaches at each level.

Self-starter, able to work independently.

Entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Head Coach oversees the program at every level within the philosophy established by the Athletic Director at Berean Christian School.
