BCS CLOSING and DELAY POLICY
In the event of inclement weather that warrants closing, or delay, of school, the BCS Headmaster will make the decision if Berean is closed, or delayed, because of weather. The announcements will be made no later than 6:15 AM regarding weather delays and closings.
We will go by our Headmaster’s decision, NOT Knox County Schools, for closing, or you will be able to check the BCS website www.bereanchristian.org This information will scroll across the center of the main page of our website.
You can be alerted by signing up for a Text Message Alert. The message will come directly to your cell phone.
TEXT MESSAGE ALERT INSTRUCTIONS
Log in to your Sycamore School account to set up the text message alert option. We will use this as one of the methods of communicating to parents if we need to close school.
You can also watch the 3 local TV stations, (WATE, WBIR, WVLT), for the announcement. These stations also have an option to set up for text message alerts. Please be aware that the TV stations will not allow posting if a school is on their normal schedule.
