Bio: Lisa Blumberg holds a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in Bible from Cedarville University. She had the privilege of attending Christian schools from Kindergarten through college. This is her 27th year teaching in Christian schools, and she has been at Berean Christian School since 2007. Lisa and her husband Ed have been married for 23 years and have two daughters, Betsy and Jenna. Some of her interests include reading, playing board games, swimming, watching movies, and singing on the worship team at Calvary Chapel Smoky Mountains.
Rachel Lynn Acree
Bio:Rachel earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland at College Park and continued her higher education with completion of a Master's degree in art history from Richmond the American International University in London. She has taught in South Korea, Maryland, and in Knox County Schools. Rachel loves to teach elementary grades, especially fifth grade as it is a highly energetic and creative age! Interests of Rachel's are: art, reading, drawing, painting, animals, running, skiing, traveling, and time with friends. Favorite verses: Isaiah 40:28-29 - "He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." and Psalm 19: "(The decrees of the Lord) are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey."
Frank (Win) Weldon
Bio: Amy earned a degree from Cedarville University in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Bible in 2008. After graduating she had the privilege of moving to China where she taught at the International School of Qingdao for seven years. At God's leading, she returned to America a few years ago and has slowly been working her way toward the goal of living in Tennessee which she accomplished this summer. Amy enjoys cooking, crocheting, loving people, and the new joy of living near her nephews.
