School Board

Rick Anthony

  • Title: Berean Christian School Board Chairman
  • Bio: Anthony has attended Berean Bible Church since June of 1982. He sees his time, effort and prayers as a way to contribute to an institution that has blessed his family continually. His oldest children graduated from Berean and transitioned to college. The robust academic regimen coupled with a loving Christian world-view served them well. The Anthony family’s youngest child is following in his older siblings footsteps and attending Berean as well.

Richard Brown

  • Title: Berean School Board Member
  • Bio: Brown helped start the Berean Homeschool Program in the early 1990s. His favorite thing about the school is that it operates as a family and ministers to the students, as opposed to simply being "an institution." Now retired, Brown is married to wife Penny and together they have six children (one is a teacher at Berean). In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking.

    Favorite Bible verse:
From the Message translation: Ephesians 3:20
20-21 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Sharon Ross

  • Title: Berean School Board Member
  • Bio: As a graduate from the second 8th grade class, Ross found that the extraordinary foundation she received prepared her far beyond her peers when she entered high school, both academically and spiritually.
